The White Eared Bulbul ( Pycnonotus leucotis ) in Abu Dhabi

Yes, it has been a long time that I posted something crafty. Its just because my exam preparations are not allowing enough time for me to start with any other project, though I have a long list of to- dos. It will take me a month or two to get back to the previous state.

Meanwhile, We had these small unexpected but pleasant visitors yesterday , perched on a construction rod outside the window , chirping off to glory. This seems to be their breeding time and probably the couple is looking for a good place to build their nest.

Their magnificent singing, playful nature, and closeness toward us were really thrilling.

Two notable features that make them different from other bird are the white patch on the cheek and the yellowish orange under tail covert that can be seen in the second picture.
